Visit by Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN), 5 Feb 2024
SingAREN is pleased to host Prof. Roshan G. Ragel, Consultant CEO and Dr. Asitha Bandaranayake, Consultant CTO from Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN) for their visit to Singapore on 5 Feb 2024.
Prof. Roshan G. Ragel and Dr. Asitha Bandaranayake visited ASPIRE 2A, Singapore’s new National Petascale Supercomputer, owned by National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) Singapore. It is housed at the award-winning purpose built green Data Centre in i4 Building at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
NSCC Singapore and SingAREN shared on their projects to support the research and education community in Singapore. LEARN also shared on its plans for digital transformation of higher education in Sri Lanka. It was an interesting and insightful sharing for the various parties.
SingAREN looks forward to collaborations with LEARN.
